Trigger warning: this video contains themes which some readers may find triggering. 18 months after being diagnosed with PTSD, as the result of being bullied for two years at primary school, ten-year-old Ava-Lilly was determined to share her story. She made a video, for Children's Mental Health Week 2021, in the hopes it could help other children like her. The video has since been shared all over the world on social media. Here, her mum Sophie shares the details of the family's story for the first time, praising the Family Support Worker who she says 'changed all our lives' and addressing flaws in a system, which she reveals left them feeling abandoned and alone for too long, before finally getting the help they needed.
