Sätrabadet (also Sätrastrandsbadet ) is one of the City of Stockholm's 24 official beach baths (valid in 2008). The bath is located by Lake Mälaren in the district Sätra in southwest Stockholm . Adjacent to the southern side of Sätrabadet is the Sätraån outlet. The bath is located within Sätraskogen's nature reserve .
Sätrabadet has an approximately 350 meter long sandy beach and borders a large area with both sand, rocks and grass. In the far north there is a bathing place for dogs. There is a kiosk and mini golf and you can sit at tables or benches. Past the bath leads a long walking path that goes from the farm Johannesdal in the south all the way to Gröndal in the north.
During 2006, Sätrabadet, together with Hökarängsbadet and Smedsuddsbadet, received the most remarks regarding water quality and a consultancy inquiry was produced. At Sätrabadet, there are several drains near the water that will be investigated further. In addition, the impact could be from sewage from boats in the nearby marina. In the summer of 2008, the water quality was approved again.
