Why did Koba actually win in the end? In the Caesar trilogy, one cruel ape stood out from the rest. One who was subjected to experiments at an early age, and developed a contempt for humanity that resonated for hundreds of years afterward. Koba's anti-human ideologies may have influenced the ape clans, and in the end, his beliefs became mixed with Caesar's teachings, creating a distortion in their history where apes possibly follow Koba's teachings.
