Note! At about 13:30 I'm talking about wasted spark where all coils fire simultaneously. That is not true. There is 3 spark outputs, so only 2 coils fire simultaneously. The firing order in m50NV unit is "wrong" so that's why it uses same trigger angle setting as m52 unit.
Part 7 of the BMW e30 m50 turbo build. In this project we use Plug and Play Megasquirt called KDFI v1.4 to control the engine. The KDFI control unit is basically normal ms2 v3.0 unit so all basic Megasquirt stuff works with it. In this episode I will show how to connect the KDFI and how to do the settings to run the engine. These settings can used with other m50/m52 Megasquirt control units also. Not just KDFI. In the end we will start the car first time with the turbo and new injectors running e85. If you only want to see the start jump to 34:22.
