Philippine house lawmaker Lawrence Fortun believes Congress should not let the National Telecommunications Commission off the hook after it reneged on its commitment to allow ABS-CBN to continue operations despite the expiry of its franchise last May 4th. Fortun says Congress should adopt a resolution condemning the action and even suggests the people concerned be cited in contempt.
