A little bit about us.
We are Elaine, Darren and Max.
We had plans to be 'Pensioners in Portugal' about a year ago, but as is so often the case, life, situation and circumstance can throw a few spanners in the works, and that has led us here.
However, as soon as we are able (July of 2022) we will drive our Iveco Daily Minibus Self-Build Camper to our tiny house and land in Central Portugal and start to build a more sustainable and gentle life for ourselves. To help the transition from 'house life' in the UK to a new life in Central Portugal we feel we needed to be more prepared for living on our land in Portugal for a year or so, whilst we renovate and rebuild, so we bought the bus. It will allow us to travel UK and Europe more extensively and enable a certain amount of creature comforts whilst we set up our new life in Portugal.
