the new limited edition clock cancels out the corner magnets, so instead of buying it why not just make your own (unless you like the colors)
just gonna personally call this the dimmer magnets mod because why not
why do this mod?
- less resistance between each additional pin, plus slightly faster clock
should i do this mod?
- really easy to do and really easy to fix (unlike the magnet mod), so you could give it a try to see how it feels

ended up getting the limited edition clock, actually as stiff as a brick out of the box. anyway, stronger pin magnets definitely noticeable on the le clock
