Seth Boustead is a composer and the founder and Executive Director of Access Contemporary Music, a Chicago based organization dedicated to the promotion of music by living composers. Under his leadership ACM started many of its signature programs such as Weekly Readings, Composer Alive, the ACM School of Music, and the High School Composer's Workshop, and he has been instrumental in growing the audience for ACM's live events.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
