Paul Krugman is a Nobel Prize-winning economist, noted New York Times columnist and author, and distinguished professor in the Ph.D. Program in Economics at the Graduate Center. Olivier Blanchard, chief economist at the International Monetary Fund from 2008 to 2015, is a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and Robert M. Solow Professor of Economics emeritus at MIT.
