Florida International University’s (FIU) College of Engineering and Computing has received a five-year, $22.9 million grant from the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Army Research Laboratory (CCDC-ARL) to advance Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing (CSAM) technologies used in the field to aid in the repair, design and development of high-performance materials used in the manufacturing of next-generation vehicles and munitions. Researchers will also seek advances that promote cost-effectiveness and time efficiency.
