Nicole Harper, a 38-year-old pregnant woman, was on the way home from work in July 2020 when Arkansas state trooper Rodney Dunn pulled her over for going 84 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Harper slowed down to 60 mph and turned on her emergency blinkers, but couldn't pull over because the highway had a shortened shoulder. Just two minutes after Dunn turned on his overhead lights, he suddenly decided to perform a Pursuit Intervention Technique, aka PIT maneuver, on the pregnant woman, sending her car cascading into the wall and flipping over.
Luckily Harper and her baby were ok, but Officer Dunn still charged her with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. What do you think?
