Most mosaic artists I know dream of visiting Orsoni! Founded in 1877, it is the oldest glass furnace in Venice and the only one on the main island. Orsoni creates some of the most beautiful mosaic gold and smalti in the world. A gorgeous mosaic-decorated Orsoni B & B is situated right next to the furnace in the beautiful Cannaregio neighborhood of Venice.
