A chunk of a SpaceX rocket will soon crash into the Moon. This crash will be so powerful that it will create a crater on the lunar surface. This rocket was launched in 2015 to put a NASA satellite into orbit. The satellite was known as the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) and was successfully deployed by the SpaceX rocket. However, the rocket was left abandoned in space after completing the task. Since then, the second stage of the rocket, also referred to as a booster, has been floating around in a chaotic orbit. It is destined to crash on the lunar surface on March 4.
