The town of Tachikawa is easily accessible, as it's just a 30-minute train ride from Shinjuku station 🚇
From Tachikawa station, walk about 15 minutes to reach Showa Kinen Park, then walk 10 minutes to reach the sunflower fields 🌻
You'll find over 50,000 sunflowers of various sizes! 🤩
With its 180 hectares, Showa Kinen Koen is Tokyo's largest park!
To get around you can also rent a bike at the park entrance 🚴🏻♀️
In addition to fields of sunflowers, you'll find several flowers 🌷 as well as a Japanese garden, a barbecue area and large stretches of grass for fun and picnics! 🧺
