Caring for a loved one, friend or neighbor will affect all of us at some point in our lives. Euronews’ Producer Jeremy Wilks travels to Norway to meet carer Inger-Lise Lillefloth, who has cared for her husband who has Parkinson’s disease for 18 years, while also holding down a full-time job. Jeremy hears from Sociologist Lise Lien and Health Policy Expert Jan Grund, and looks at the kinds of measures Europe needs in order to support carers with achieving a more sustainable work/life balance.
