puff puff is commonly eaten in most west African countries as a snack side dish and is mostly served in parties.to make puff ingredients depends on the quantity of flour.
for 5 cups of flour you need
2tsp yeast.it can be quick rise or normal yeast .for normal yeast.mixe and set aside to rise before you use
1tsp salt
1 cup of warm water
5 cups of all purpose flour.
1/2 cup of sugar
procedure
pour 1 cup of warm water into a large bowl.
add in 1/2 tsps of yeast
1tsp of salt
1/2 a cup of sugar
stir and set aside for 5 min until you see bubbles
when you see bubble in the mixture add in 5cups of all purpose flour
mixe well.and allow to sit for.1 to 2 hours until the dough doubles.
put some oil in a pan or pot and allow to heat up.fry puff puff by dipping your hands in the dough take up a little quantity and form balls when cutting into the pot with your hands.fry at medium to high heat.fry until golden brown and puff puff is ready
remove and put in a paper towel to sock off extra oil.serve with pap beans or eat simple.
