Delicious and healthy Millet Meatless Meatballs is high in complex carbohydrates. It is energy food. Very safe for diabetes. High in protein, fiber and magnesium. Very good for heart, lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure. It is Alkaline forming in your body.
MILLET MEATLESS meatballs
2 c cooked millet
¼ c pecan meals
¼ c oat flour
1 T chicken-like-seasoning
¼ tsp sea salt
1 tsp sage
1 tsp sweet basil
1 tsp turbinado sugar
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1 T nutritional yeast flakes
Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Make 15-18 meatballs. Heat frying pan on medium high. Add 2-4 Tablespoonful vegetable oil. When oil is hot, add all meatballs and cook until brown all around. Serve with your favorite gravy or vegan spaghetti sauce. Very delicious!
MILLET COOKING INSTRUCTION: Wash 1 cup millet and drain completely. Transfer 1 cup millet in a medium saucepan and add 3 cups water. Bring to a full boil. Reduce heat to low cook for 20 minutes.
