Here’s a video of our latest five crane climbs (#39-43). There seems to be so many new cranes popping up here in Perth, we can’t help but climb them for their awesome pics and views, especially when they’re all so easily accessible.
#39 - Dean Street Claremont - Constructed for the St Louis Estate, it will be 16 luxury apartments over four levels with a shared rooftop terrace.
#40 - McIver Royal Perth Hospital (2nd): This was my second time on this crane and I was keen to improve on my photos from last time. It's definitely one of my favourite ones because of the awesome views of the city, which I'm always passionate about climbing for and especially photographing. It was so peaceful up there, even on a Saturday night watching police cars every now and then tearing around.
#41-43 - Subiaco One Pavilion Markets Apartments: The former Subiaco Pavilion Market site is currently being redeveloped by Blackburne as the One Subiaco apartments. At a cost of $280 million, it will have 242 apartments and is the largest residential development project ever undertaken in Western Australia, with an expected completion date set for September 2022.
Aside from the usual high-class targeted keywords in their marketing campaigns such as 'exclusive, luxurious, sophisticated' and 'elegant,' Blackburne's iconic residence might be the first apartment complex to actually be unique, to the point they could surpass the standard expectations of a typical generic development.
Boasting large living spaces with up to three-bedroom apartments, it will have a VIP concierge service, world-class amenities such as a private deck and dining area, sauna, outdoor gardens, poolside cabans, urban orchards. as well as the standard swimming pool and gymnasium facilities. This impressive development makes it even more attractive to photograph.
