Goodbye #Greenbelt1
Goodbye to another of Leandro Locsin's work.
Greenbelt 1, built in 1982, was designed by National Artist for Architecture Leandro Locsin and was first known as Greenbelt Square.
This place has been my #ChillPlace since the 1990s.
In college, it was always a treat to eat at the Triple V Express and have the Chori burger of Bun on the Run while watching movies. Reminiscing shopping for clothes at the Sari-sari Store of Ricco Ocampo is elating.
When I started working, it was the Cafe Adriatico 2 of my late boss LJC for meetings, sushi and making at Furusato and some Delifrance downtime before my bus commute.
My staples over the decades were Cafe Via Mare for my favorite puto bungbong or adobong pusit and Dulcinea for churros con chocolate & salpicao.
I'm so looking forward to the reopening of Greenbelt 1 and dine at my favorites again.
I hope the #CatsOfGreenbelt will be fostered for the time being.
