Teeth are an important part of our digestive system because they break our tongue down into little bits so we can swallow it. We have different types of teeth for different jobs. These are the incisors, the canines, molars, pre-molars and wisdom teeth.
We also look at the different parts of a tooth, from the crown to the root, and the enamel to the nerves. It's important for children to understand their teeth so they are better equipped to care for them.
