Long Beach is a beautiful city, but like many large cities we are experiencing a growth in trash and illegally dumped items accumulating throughout the City.
Helping to tackle this challenge is the Clean Team – which each month has been removing about 50,000 pounds of debris and 1,400 illegally dumped items from our City’s right of ways since it was started in October of 2016.
Working in partnership with community volunteers they are making a difference. You can help too by calling (562) 570-2876 to report illegally dumped items and take advantage of scheduled special item pickups.
Whether it’s an assignment that comes by phone, via the GoLB App, or anywhere else, the Clean Team is there – ready to serve.
