In this video were going to show you how to smoke chicken wings in your Pit Boss Vertical Smoker. We smoked the chicken wings at a higher temperature in order to get crispy skin but if you dont mind a softer skin then go ahead and smoke them between 225 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit instead of the 275 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
We also used two different bbq rubs today. We used the Pit Boss Smoke Infused all purpose rub and then we put down a layer of the Pit Boss Sweet Heat Rub. The results were fantastic.
Lets not forget the marinade we used prior to smoking the chicken wings. It was about a half a bottle of Italian dressing and about 4 tablespoons of Texas Pete hot sauce. Marinade the chicken wings for about 2 hours before seasoning them with the rub and putting them in the Pit Boss smoker.
