China has reportedly proposed cutting tariffs on American-made cars as Washington and Beijing continue trade talks.

President Trump said this month that China would cut the tariffs after a meeting with his Chinese counterpart at the G20 summit in Argentina.
Bloomberg also reported Tuesday that China's cabinet will review the proposal in the coming days.
The plan reportedly involves reducing tariffs on American-made cars from 40 percent to 15 - the same tax levied on car imports from other countries.
However, Bloomberg noted that nothing has been finalized and that the proposal could change.
Washington and Beijing are yet to confirm the report.
But, President Trump tweeted that trade talks were productive and teased what he called some "important announcements"
China's commerce ministry also confirmed both sides had spoken, saying they are working on a "timetable and road map for the next stage of economic and trade consultations work."
The report provided a boost to carmakers, with American and European auto stocks rising.
