In this video obtained by Rappler, the government attempts to drum up interest for the massive P170.6-billion rehabilitation project of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Regarded as one of the worst international airports in the world, NAIA may soon get a much-needed makeover as the government has opened the project for bidding.
As of September 15, the Department of Transportation confirmed that there are already five prospective bidders: the Manila International Airport Consortium, San Miguel Corporation, GMR, Spark 888 Management, and the Asian Airport Consortium.
