Hungarian Langos Recipe. My Hungarian mom's langos recipe.
Ingredients:
500 g flour (all-purpose)
300 ml whole milk
100 g sour cream
1 large egg
50 g fresh yeast
salt
oil
1. Pour the flour into a large bowl, add the crumbled yeast, egg, salt, and the sour cream. Mix it and then add the milk, after all the ingredients are in the bowl knead it with a hand while the pasta is smooth.
2. Sprinkle the top of the pasta with flour and cover it with a clean tea towel. Keep rest it for an hour.
3. On a floury board, roll out the pasta till it's roughly 1 cm in thickness.
4. Cut out circles from the pasta with a cutter or a cup.
5. Shape the circles by hand.
6. Fry it in hot oil.
