*** Ingredients ***

Duck – 1 ½ Kg
Onions (medium-sized) – 5
Ginger chopped – 1 ½ tbsp
Garlic chopped – 1 ½ tbsp
Green chilli – 5
Potatoes – 2
Curry leaves – 2 stems
Coriander powder – 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Chilli powder – ½ tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder – 1 ½ tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Coconut milk (thick) – ½ cup
Oil – 5-6 tbsp


*** Method of preparation ***

Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli.

Add chopped onions and enough salt, fry for 8-10 minutes till brown in colour.
Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix well and fry for 2 minutes on low heat.

Add duck pieces, mix it well, add enough water to cover the meat. Cover the pan with a lid and cook the meat on a medium flame for 35 to 40 minutes.

Add sliced potato and cook it for 6-8 minutes.

Add coconut milk and add curry leaves, let it boil for 2 minutes
