SafeCast Global is an Anglo-Australian project which seeks to require self applied content ratings in video to protect children from harmful content on television and the internet without censorship. SafeCast’s self-applied content ratings enable the automatic filtering of inappropriate content away from children and vulnerable people on televisions and the internet. By using existing broadcasting standards and norms in association with standards-based labelling SafeCast’s intention is to push the adoption of universal child protection across all video media and platforms.
