When I review Isolde's kit, I always think like 6, she has some amazing dmg potential!
Her Ulti is actually pretty insane, although on paper it does no dmg but it triggers a FUA intermezzo
On paper, this intermezzo is the same FUA she cast at the start of every turn BUT [Burn] stack is halved at the beginning of the next round but instead the intermezzo from her Ulti can take advantage of the full 30 [Burn] stack, making it double the dmg of the normal Intermezzo Isolde's does every turn.
The thing is that, for every excess [Burn] stack, Isolde gets 15% incantation might.
Her Ulti inflicts 10 [Burn] stack on the enemy she targets. So let's assume that the Boss is already at 30 stacks and Isolde cast her Ulti inflicting an additional 10 excess stacks, that's equal to 150% Incantation Might and THATS insane! UTTU level of boost.
So typically, after she uses her Ulti, she will deal 50% + 300% AOE enhanced by Incantation Might!
NOT to mention, at the start of next round, enemies receive another 50% + 150% AOE (without Incantation Might)
Total of 550% AOE to the enemy, even without the Incantation Might, dealing 550% AOE is higher than most AOE DPS we have.
Anyway, in this comparison
0:00 Jiu
3:30 Isolde
In both this run, the team members are the same, 6 and TF.
Both completed the fight in 5 turns, Jiu was unlucky that her Atk did not crit, but even if it does we probably get to save up 1 turn.
But again, that is a P3 Jiu vs a P0 Isolde
Isolde Pros
- Power Burst + Rousing Morale gives party a huge dmg boost (75%)
- Crit Def down, Reality Def down
- Her own dmg is pretty high
Isolde Cons
- If she can't inflict [Burn], then she can't do much for that fight
- Enemy cleansing [Burn] also disrupt her kit
- She is AOE oriented but when enemies are killed, all the [Burn] stacks dissapear as well.
