Yuva Talim Kendra, popularly known as the YTK, was established in Sarangpur (a tiny village in Gujarat) in 2007 by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Today it is nurtured by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj’s love, care and guidance. It is six months of life-transforming residential training in which character building, moral values, spirituality & family values, social service with leadership & responsibility and soft skills & career development are the main focus. This training is imparted to the selected youths of BAPS around the globe. Lodging, boarding and medical requirements of the trainees are taken care of during the training period. Every year, 300 selected youths are imparted with this training. Since its establishment, over 2,350 youths have benefitted from the YTK. In this way, when the society is ridden with addiction, illiteracy, superstition, corruption and much more, YTK is yet another contribution of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha towards a happy, prosperous, peaceful and spiritual world.
