'Russia's Volcano blankets village with 15km of Ash'
This is Shiveluch volcano erupting on Russia’s Far Eastern Kamchatka Peninsula, spewing an 15 km ash plume into the sky.
Once the ash touched the ground, it piled up to 8.5 centimetres and at one point, the grey volcanic dust cloud blocked the sun light.
