UWC South East Asia (UWCSEA) has two campuses in Singapore and is one of 17 UWC schools and colleges in the global UWC movement. Our mission is use education as a means to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future.
Founded in 1971, UWC South East Asia's Dover Campus is located west of the CBD, near the National University of Singapore. The K-12 student body has access to state of the art facilities, and the campus has been recognised for sustainable design following the completion of a five-year redevelopment programme in 2017.
There are 3,012 students, the majority of whom are day students who live with their families in Singapore. Around 190 boarders (in Grades 8-12), including 40+ scholars live in two residential boarding houses on the school grounds.
The campus welcomes students from nearly 90 nationalities, who speak around 60 different languages. Although the language of instruction is English, the campus offers a structured EAL/ESL programme for students from Grade 1 and above and all students take a second language.
UWCSEA offers a bespoke, content-based curriculum from K-12 that incorporates the requirements of the external examination bodies offering IGCSE and IB Diploma. Dover Campus has offered the IB Diploma since 1981, and currently has the widest IB Diploma subject offering of any international school in Singapore. Students go on to best-fit universities around the world - a full list can be found on our website - www.uwcsea.edu.sg.
UWCSEA Dover is an IB World School, CIS/WASC Accredited School and also part of the Round Square movement.
