I'll be honest, my trips to nationals have never been momentous. I'm not great, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to put my best foot forward, and that starts with bringing the right equipment. Since I don't have the luxury of being able to drive to Las Vegas, that means that we have to make some choices on what comes with on our Southwest flights.

Only having space for 6 balls, and actually 5 since we need a spare ball means you need to know how your team likes to play, what you need to handle transition, what is best when the inevitable singles burn happens, and how to cover basically any situation you can think of since you don't know the patterns.

Is it possible to bring the best 5 without having that information? Probably not (see my USBC should release patterns video) but if I had to fly with these two bags, I would feel pretty good about my chances.
