By their own admission, the FIA has said that the 2022 rule changes to encourage overtaking between cars has mostly been undone with teams innovating at an incredible rate. 50% of the benefits from the ground-effect cars have been removed and this has resulted in less organic overtakes. Carlos Sainz for Ferrari had reported this at the Italian Grand Prix, that DRS would be required and enhanced to encourage any overtaking. What can F1 do to fix this?
