The NSX recently visited SP Engineering for a tune. Protomachine fabricated a new manifold relocating all of the turbo components, requiring a retune for the new components. The goal of the tune was to simply make the car safe to drive, however the parts from Protomachine had a surprising effect on the response and power. The quality of their work was phenomenal, with their beautiful components reducing weight and increasing power.

Kristian Wong is the tuner at SP Engineering and spent almost 8 hours ensuring the tune was safe and reliable. Kristian went through every detail to safely optimize performance. The tune is currently on a low boost setting for testing. The tune was the final part of the engine updates for 2019. We have Vtec Club USA’s night event this weekend and will begin testing to for Super Lap Battle.
