My second ever metal detecting outing with the XP Deus II metal detector (9" coil) was to a seemingly empty patch of land that I've never detected before, followed by a quick visit to a playground! For a seemingly open and barren landscape, the soil still produced some interesting finds including coins, relics and a mystery item that could very well be silver.
I played with General and Park modes on the Deus 2 today. I think it might be time to hit the beach for the next adventure. 😉
