On Wednesday 28 July, Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham visited Salford Royal hospital. He spoke to some of those working on the frontline of healthcare's response to the pandemic and heard about staff and service pressures. He also spoke outside the hospital to Libby McManus, Chief Nursing Officer, Northern Care Alliance NHS Group.
