Alex Howes (he/him/his) stepped into racing at a young age and found it the perfect challenge. Unlike more common sports, like soccer, or basketball, where there is a clear winner, bike racing felt more subjective and offered more areas to improve as an individual.
After a decade of World Tour racing though, Alex is changing gears and coming home. Born and raised in the Rockies, this mountain man is looking forward to a full calendar of mixed-terrain racing and the adventures of fatherhood.
