Young Turks host and creator Cenk Uygur has hit out at neoconservatives who hate the United Nations as “insanity” because they “don’t like peace”.
On Friday, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees said several employees were allegedly involved in the Hamas attacks on Israel.
The agency’s commissioner-general immediately terminated the contracts of the staff members involved and launched an investigation into the allegations.
“The United Nations is all of the nations, and right-wingers like Dennis [Prager] don’t want us to work with all of the nations,” Mr Prager told Sky News host Piers Morgan.
“They don’t like peace, they don’t like the world community … the neoconservatives like Dennis Prager and others … hate [the United Nations].
“Of course, they don’t like the United Nations.
“We’re just supposed to not have a United Nations?
“This is insanity.”
