Today on Booze On The Rocks, we make a Fog Cutter. Created by Vic Bergeron and first shown in print in his " Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide (revised edition). Unlike many Tiki-Style cocktails, this Trader Vic original has a split base consisting of gin, cognac, and rum. It's a boozy cocktail with hints of almond, lemon, and orange. Try it out and let me know what you think.

1.5 oz/45 ml White Rum
1 oz/60 ml Cognac
.5 oz/15 ml Gin
.5 oz/15 ml Amontillado Sherry
1.5 oz/45 ml Orange Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Lemon Juice
Method
1. Add all of the ingredients except the sherry to the shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
3. Strain into a glass over crushed ice.
4. Float the sherry on top.
5. Garnish with an orange slice.
