Join me for a 25 Minute pilates core workout that is safe if you have neck pain or lower back pain. Get a flatter tummy in no time with this core workout created to challenge you in a safe yet very effective way. With no flexion this is a great challenge for anyone of any age, and is safe for people with bulging, herniated discs, osteoporosis, neck arthritis or general neck pain from sitting at a desk for long hours. There will be options to increase and decrease the challenge so this is a workout for everyone who wants to strengthen and tone their core.
We will be focusing intensely on the engagement of the lower abdominals in order to build strength, and also control stability of the pelvis, with the addtion of weight bearing movement to boost the metabolism, burn calories and improve your overall level of fitness. All of the exercises are pilates exercises, which I explain at a steady pace that means you can do them with me.
I recommend you do this routine three to four times a week for 10 weeks and you will see and feel a difference. Not only in flatter abs but also a stronger body with great posture! This workout tones the legs, the back and all of your core muscles. It will leave you feeling like you've worked hard but equally relaxed and ready for your day. No props needed, just you and your mat.
