Gravel riding is the hot new discipline in cycling, and needless to say I'm hooked. I've done many gravel rides before, but this was my first 'proper' gravel ride in my opinion, as this was my first time riding on some proper logging roads. I loved the views, the quiet 'roads', and the general feel of escaping life and have fun riding in the outback.
The Burnt Bridge Classic Gravel Race has popped up two years ago, while I haven't done it yet, I road the route of the 2020 edition in this video with my friend Colin. The route features lots of ups, downs, and twists. The actual route can be definitely confusing, you can easily miss a turn or two, so it's a good idea to have the gpx file on your bike computer while riding this route.
