Wake Forest beat Syracuse at home in comeback fashion, 45-35. Wake Forest QB Sam Hartman looked like his old self, passing for 331 yards, picking up 52 more on the ground, and tossing 4 touchdowns on 30-43 passing. WR A.T. Perry caught 3 of those scores in the first half, breaking Ricky Proehl’s career receiving TD school record in the process. For Syracuse, RB Sean Tucker picked up 106 yards and 2 scores on 16 carries while QB Garret Shrader threw for 324 yards and a touchdown.
