Over the last few years, Shane McMahon in WWE has been somewhat rocky. There was issues with him at the 2022 Royal Rumble and then he returned at WrestleMania 39 only to suffer an injury. It's unclear if Shane would return to WWE once he is cleared yet according to Conrad Thompson, he noted how McMahon has reached out to AEW names about seeing if there was interest in him working there.
