Khonya Epshteyn, who was born in 1928 in Shepelevichi and lived there during the war years recounts that shortly after the German occupation of the town able-bodied Jewish men were taken to the cemetery near the village of Mokrovichi and shot there to death. Epshteyn testifies why his father wans't included in this group.
