This is a step by step on how to make a deceptively simple ring from copper wire. This was about 3/32 of an inch thick electrical wiring left over from when i got outlets put in by my work bench. This project probably only took about five minutes, and required minimal tools: vice, pliers, hammer, some surface to hammer on, a file, and a propane torch. I used a wire wheel on a bench grinder to clean it up, but you could use sandpaper, steel wool, or a handheld wire brush.
I have not done much jewelry, but it is interesting and I enjoy it.
