Timing is the critical piece of every tennis shot. It’s optimal timing that enables you to hit with both power and control and well as play a variety of different types of shot.
One of the hardest shots to time is a ball that is floating deep and bouncing up. One of the reasons it’s so tricky is because the ball is dropping and bouncing up at a very different angle to the swing path the racket has to take.
In this video I show you how I’m working on my timing. It explains both the things I do on court and how I train off court to improve my skill level.
