Although this is the 15th Puppy Bowl, it is only the fifth time that it has been held in a competitive format. Team Ruff trounced Team Fluff, 87-49, in the first Puppy Bowl and repeated as champions with a 70-44 win the following year. That usually leads to smaller dogs having the edge, as they are feistier and more active.
