In this video, you will see how to update pivot data source in Excel automatically.

Here, we will use Table as Data source
Convert data range into Excel table (list object).Follow the below steps to convert into table.
1 Select any cell of the data range.
2 Press CTRL+T edit range in pop up pane if required. OR From tab CLICK INSERT then TABLE
3 Tick My table has headers then click OK.

***Advantages of Table as a data source in pivot table.****
- Auto updation of range when any new row or column in added in table.
- Once can be meaningful name to table thus making data source name more clean.
Example SaleTbl is more clean than sale!$A$3:$C$17
- After creating table one can quickly visit that range using Name box.
