Labor MP Andrew Charlton has blasted the Opposition over its nuclear announcement which is a “plan to do nothing”.
Opposition leader Peter Dutton announced the Coalition’s nuclear plan at a media event on Wednesday.
“This is not a plan for Australia’s energy transition; it’s a plan to do nothing and maintain coal,” Mr Charlton told Sky News Australia.
“The truth is that Peter Dutton has never been serious about climate change; the Liberals have never been serious about climate change; they didn’t do anything for the last 10 years.”
