Claire Waller, 15, used to have more than 200 seizures a week. As you can imagine, for this high-schooler, embarrassment was her big fear. For her family, the stress of not knowing when a seizure would strike and making sure they could intervene was the "new normal." Medications to control the seizures weren't working, so Claire made the difficult choice to undergo epilepsy surgery.
